Who We Are
Our Story
InnerOut Training Solutions (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2003, drawing on more than 25 years of experience across the medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, quality assurance, and manufacturing industries.
The company's founder began her career as a Medical Technologist in 1977 and went on to hold senior positions in laboratory management, quality assurance, pharmaceutical production, staff supervision, auditing, and regulatory compliance. Throughout her career, one theme remained constant: developing people, improving processes, and helping teams perform at their best.
This passion for people and development inspired the establishment of InnerOut Training Solutions. Since then, the company has provided customised skills development and training solutions to organisations, combining practical industry experience with an understanding of workplace learning.
Today, InnerOut Training Solutions offers hard and soft skills training, customised non-credit-bearing programmes, facilitation, assessment and moderation, learnership project management, training needs analysis, course and assessment development, QMS development, and support with QCTO accreditation.
At its heart, InnerOut Training Solutions was founded on the belief that meaningful development starts from within — empowering people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to create lasting change in the workplace.

Shirley Holdsworth
Founder & Managing Director
Shirley founded InnerOut Training Solutions in 2003, bringing more than 25 years of experience across the medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, quality assurance, and manufacturing industries. Beginning her career as a Medical Technologist in 1977, she went on to hold senior roles in laboratory management, quality assurance, pharmaceutical production, staff supervision, auditing, and regulatory compliance. Her lifelong passion for developing people and improving processes led her to establish InnerOut, where she continues to drive meaningful, practical skills development for organisations across South Africa.
Natalie Holdsworth
Training & Administration Specialist
A versatile and experienced professional with a strong background in administration, client service, training and education. She has worked across insurance, healthcare and skills development, gaining experience in claims, office administration, learner support, SETA processes, training, assessment and moderation. She is organised, adaptable and confident in working with clients, learners and external stakeholders.
Madoda Nyembezi
ETD Practitioner & Meat Processing Specialist
An experienced Meat technician and ETD Practitioner with a National Certificate in Meat Processing (NQF Level 3, 129 credits). Skilled in slaughtering, de-boning, meat cutting, processing, packaging, stock control, HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality control. Since 2015, has also worked as a Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator, providing workplace training, assessments and learner support across the food manufacturing and retail sectors. Combines strong practical meat-processing expertise with extensive training and skills-development experience.
